Hi to everyone!! :).Today i´m going to talk about my favorite subject this term .This semester was quite busy ,doing a lot of papers and documents all the time :but obviously ,every careers have their good part .Personally , i think that the best subject not only this semester ,but all this year ,is "Social´s History".On that subject ,you can know a lot of process and facts that the "Normal History" didn´t tell you before ,like feminist´s popular movements on 60´s decade in Chile, or EZLN in Mexico .Is the History of the controlled (unseen)and their subversions .
Formally ,on our first year this has been split in two parts .The first is the Latinoamerican´s social History and the second part is the Chilean´s social History ,whereby you can learn and discuss all the topics that they address class to class.You have to be prepared to change your old concepts and query your knowledgements about History.
I like this subject because that gives you a new perspective ,more criticize attitude than in the past,and the opportunitie of know about a lot of authors (not so recognized than the europeans) like Julieta Kirkwood.
That´s my opinion ,so , which subject on your career is your favorite?? .

I didn't like it that much History social of Chile , also methodology is so didactic but I can´t land the content.
ReplyDeleteI had a similar course the semester before, but I disliked a little bit, because I have never liked History too much, and have having a course titled "Historia Social de Chile", was a real challenge for me (after all, it was, acceptable?)
